Karen’s love of art began as a young girl growing up in Texas on a working ranch owned and operated by her family. Having family involved in animal husbandry and a father who was an avid outdoorsman instilled within Karen a genuine and diverse appreciation for nature and the wide array of animals that abound in it. Karen’s paintings offer a rare look into the inner workings of these beautiful yet elusive animals, both domestic and wild.
